Royal? Cerulean? Indigo? Cobalt? Regardless of what you want to call them, bright blues are HOT right now for bar and bat mitzvahs. It is also a popular color for girl and boy b’nai mitzvahs. We combined blue with neutrals white and grey for Matthew’s bar mitzvah invitation suite above.
The main invitation is printed on blue acrylic with an all-over coating of smoke grey ink, leaving the name clear to let the custom liner shine through as it emerges from the envelope. The custom liner is a pattern of logos, text and icons that represent Matthew’s favorite sports, cities and interests.
We mixed different materials and printing methods throughout set, but kept it cohesive with color and typography. We had the privilege of working on this set with retailer Precious Papers in West Harrison, New York.
